Cory Gunz - Heir To The Throne (Gangsta Grillz) [Review/Download]

When I first heard Cory Gunz a while back I wasn't really

into his music or style. Then a friend came came across this video

of Cory Gunz spittin' with Dj Drama & Maino. He had this amazing flow

this verse and crazy lyrics. That peice is now the 2nd track on this tape,

which follows after the intro aka Cannon.

Cannon was another crazy track. It's hard to explain what makes Cory

stand out besides his flow. He's just one of those people that you

like and can't really break it down, but you'll continue to bump his music.

He really flexed his flowing skills on this tape. In my opinion he has some poor beat

choices on here, but he's spittin' off of them not me so it is

what it is. He kills Plenty Money with this ridiculous flow and

dope lyrics. Plenty Money is followed by another dope track

called Bomb Day where once again he flosses this flow that

he kills on a majority of tracks. I Think after Crew in the Spot the tape

starts to slow down a bit and get a bit boring. Big Noise brings

the tape back into this live feel. On V12 Cory makes these syllables flow

smoothly and without a sweat broken. Money We Gon' Get It

is a Club-type track hook but he kept it street and to his style on the

verses. Very lyrical and boasting (the usual Cory). Out Ya Mind

doesn't have great beat, but Cory kills it. He starts to go physco on the

track in the middle of the song. With all that being said this tape is hot, but

we're gonna go with a 3.5/5
